Turbidity
Mill
Key benefits
Rapidly
batch treats water bodies with flocculant.
Easily
transported from site to site.
Portable
treatment system = reduced capital costs.
General Description
The Turbidity Mill Water Treatment System is extremely effective
in reducing turbidity and suspended solids in standing water bodies
without the need to pump the entire water body through a treatment
plant. The Turbidity Mill is placed on the water body requiring
treatment and is propelled around the surface of the water body
as it dispenses the reagent, providing batch treatment of an entire
water body.
The Turbidity Mill is removed from the water body once treatment
is completed and transported to the next water body requiring treatment.
The capital spent on the treatment system is not locked up at one
site but is transported to where treatment is required, providing
significant cost savings. This water treatment system is the solution
to many emergency response treatment requirements for drinking water
storages following floods, earthquakes and other natural disasters.
The simplicity, portability and low operating and capital cost of
the Turbidity Mill makes it suitable for treating drinking water
in developing countries.

| Launching a Turbidity Mill is as simple as launching
a boat. Model 1015/6P is being launched directly into a turbid
water body from its custom built trailer. |
